Fit scoring
How ElevateAI fit scoring works
Save a job. Get a 0–100 match against your career memory — so you spend time on roles that are actually close, not on every posting that looks interesting.
What you see on a saved job
An overall match, a simple read of skills, experience, and whether the role fits what you want, plus strengths, gaps, and a short note on how to position yourself if you apply.
- Skills — do you have what this posting asks for?
- Experience — is the seniority and background in the right neighborhood?
- Preferences — does it match the roles, locations, and constraints you set?
How to use it
Treat a high score as “worth a tailored application.” Treat gaps as a checklist: add a real skill to career memory, skip the job, or address the gap in a cover letter. The number is a decision aid, not a promise of interviews.
What this score is not
- Not a promise of interviews or offers
- Not a certified ATS score for Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, or Taleo
- Not a reason to invent skills to “fix” a gap
- Not comparable to another tool’s 0–100 — every product counts differently
Frequently asked questions
What is ElevateAI fit scoring?
When you save a job, ElevateAI compares that posting to your career memory and shows a 0–100 match, plus what’s strong, what’s missing, and how to position yourself if you apply.
Is the fit score an ATS pass-rate?
No. It is ElevateAI’s read of fit against your history. It is not a certified score from Workday, Greenhouse, or any other ATS vendor, and we do not publish one.
Should I invent skills to raise the score?
No. Add something to career memory only if it is true, then look at the score again. A higher number that you cannot defend in an interview is a waste of the application.
